Classes

Our classes are taught by Chelsea Bruce, chef, pastry artist, and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, Saint Helena, California.

Unless otherwise noted, all classes start at 6:30 pm. Pre-registration is required. Please call or sign up online. Class fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know one week ahead and we can transfer you into another class. Classes with fewer than 8 enrolled will be cancelled. If this happens we will call you by phone the day before. You will have the choice of transferring to another class or receiving a full refund. All evenings include recipes, training, shopping for ingredients and menu planning. Please plan to arrive on time.

Private cooking classes are available. Please make reservations two weeks ahead of time and with a minimum of 8 students.

    In this demonstrative class you will learn how to preserve the fall at its best. We will be making quince topping, pumpkin butter, apple pie filling, and holiday jam. You will go home of each product made in class, recipes, and the confidence you need to start small batch preserving the best local seasonal ingredients.

    This class will guarantee to create the warm and fuzzy feeling to remind you of those nostalgic memories of this time of year. In the demonstrative class we will be making Loaded Baked Potato Casserole, Chicken Pot Pie, Bacon Wrapped Meat Loaf, and stuffed cabbage rolls. Come hungry!

    Eat Pretty: Winter

    Winter crostini, winter Buddha bowl, rice rolls, granola. these are just a few of my favorite things but with the addition of winter ingredients! We will be focusing on bright vegetables that glow. Bring your camera or use your phone, these recipes will be Instagram worthy! This is a hands on class and we will enjoy all the pretty eats at the end of the night!

    From savory to sweet you will learn to make these recipes in this demonstrative class. Mandarin BBQ sauce, lemon curd, candied citrus peel, citrus vinaigrette, citrus honey butter, marmalade, and citrus sangria. You will taste all dishes and will go home with a little bit of everything!

    Fill holiday stockings with this hands on class. We will be making lemon curd, marinated feta, garden vegetable soup mix, chocolate fruit bites, and hot chocolate on a stick with homemade marshmallows. Each person will go home with these wonderful packaged gifts handmade by them.

    There is nothing like the feeling of creating your own kitchen tools especially ones that become heirlooms. No experience necessary come and learn the art of turning a piece of wood into a spoon. We provide all the necessary tools a light dinner will be provided.
