Tasty fall ingredients that really enhance each other and a dressing that packs the perfect punch—this salad is sure to become a favorite!
10 oz. mixed local Salad Greens
1/2 c sliced Red Onion
1 firm Pear, cored & sliced
1/2 cup seedless grapes, halved
1/2 c Candied Pecans
1/2 c crumbled Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese
1/4 c Runamok Maple Syrup
1/3 c Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3 c Mayonnaise
2 T packed Brown Sugar
3/4 t Salt
1/4 t freshly ground Black Pepper
1/4 c La Tourangelle Roasted
Place clean salad greens in a large bowl. Combine with red onion, pear, grapes, pecans and blue cheese.
Dressing: Combine maple syrup, vinegar, mayonnaise, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a blender and blend thoroughly. With motor running, slowly pour in the walnut oil. Blend until creamy, about one minute. Pour over salad and toss to coat greens evenly. Serve immediately.
