Our classes are taught by Chelsea Bruce, chef, pastry artist, and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, Saint Helena, California.

Unless otherwise noted, all classes start at 6:30 pm. Pre-registration is required. Please call or sign up online. Class fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know one week ahead and we can transfer you into another class. Classes with fewer than 8 enrolled will be cancelled. If this happens we will call you by phone the day before. You will have the choice of transferring to another class or receiving a full refund. All evenings include recipes, training, shopping for ingredients and menu planning. Please plan to arrive on time.

Private cooking classes are available. Please make reservations two weeks ahead of time and with a minimum of 8 students.

    Girls Night Out: Yes Way Rosè!

    Come and enjoy the highlights of this season’s bounty with your favorite gals. Rosè marinated peaches with burrata and arugula, stuffed pork chops with a Rosè sauce, couscous, and Rosè and Strawberry Tiramisu. We will have a variety of local rosès to taste, sangria, and of course frosè! This is a sit down gathering, dinner, and wine tasting. Recipes with be provided but not demonstrated.

    There is nothing like the feeling of creating your own kitchen tools especially ones that become heirlooms. No experience is necessary. Come and learn the art of turning a piece of wood into a spoon. We provide all the necessary tools.

    Italian Kitchen

    Two of my favorite things to eat and teach. We will begin by making fresh pasta, learning techniques in cuts and styles, followed by making fresh sausage and learning about the proper ratios, meat grinds and casings. Don’t worry we didn’t forget the sauce! This is a hands on class followed by a delicious meal paired with local wine!

    In this ever so popular class you will make your own two batches of scones to be baked at home. We will use fruits that are in season and learn about the many flavor combinations you can create. Learn the secret techniques to the perfect scones for you and your family.

    Summer Pressure Cooking

    If you have jumped on the bandwagon with a new pressure cooker or multi-cooker and don’t know where to begin, or have had some experience cooking with one but want to learn more, this class will cover it all! We will be making corn bread, Cajun chicken and rice, brisket and caramelized onions, and salted caramel cheesecake. This is a demo class.  Please come hungry.

    Summer Soups and Savory Bread

    Summer soups are some of our favorites. You can have them chilled or warm. In this demonstrative class we will be making fresh corn chowder, chicken tortilla avocado lime soup, chilled cucumber soup with crab, and gazpacho soup with toasted seeds and microgreens. We will also pair the soups with a variety of savory breads. Please come hungry!

    Summer Tapas

    Come and learn how to prepare and make a tapas menu. Tapas might mean small bites but we are sure to pack in delicious flavors, textures, and variety. In this demo class we will be making fried green tomato caprese style salad, stuffed mini peppers, empanadas, smokey Spanish potatoes, and tapenade with crackers and veggies. Please come hungry!
